Singapura, oh Singapura! (My Singapore Tour) DAY 6: MARINA BAY SANDS

It’s been five days of fun vacation here in Singapore! And the adventure continues in our visit at the world-famous Marina Bay Sands!

Marina Bay Sands (MBS) is the most spectacular five-star hotel in Singapore. Located in Marina Bay Waterfront, Marina Bay Sands features three cascading hotel towers topped with crystal-glimmering sky park which resembles a floating boat.

We didn’t have the chance to tour inside the Marina Bay Sands, instead we just visited the nearby attractions!

The Merlion statue. You've never been to Singapore
if you did not see this iconic statue! :P

Oh, these cute breads!
Oh, and a black stray cat!!! Did you know that stray cats here in Singapore
are not allowed to be fed with leftover food?  Stray animals here are
treated properly.
THE SHOPPES AT MARINA BAY SANDS
The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is one of the biggest and most luxurious shopping destination in Singapore. Inside the mall, you can also see a canal where you can take a relaxing boat ride. Among the illustrious brands housed here are  Bally, Bulgari, Burberry, Cartier, Christian Dior, Fendi, Ferragamo, Gucci, HugoBoss, Miu Miu, Omega, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co., Yves Saint Laurent and many others. So get ready to shop 'til you drop!

THE HELIX BRIDGE
Another marvelous architectural structure in Singapore is the Helix Bridge which connects the Marina Bay to Marina Centre. It is considered as the world's first curved bridge and the longest pedestrian linkway in Singapore (you can see some people jogging here). Online resources said that the bridge is inspired by the Yin Yang concept which will bring happiness, wealth, and prosperity to Marina Bay.

THE LOTUS-SHAPED ArtScience MUSEUM
The Singapore ArtScience is one of the main attractions in Marina Bay Sands because the structure is said to be a reminiscent of a lotus flower. This captivating museum is also referred to as the "Welcoming Hands" of Singapore.
