October 19, Manila — Korean superstar Lee Min Ho, popularly known to his fans as "Gu Jun Pyo" of Boys Over Flowers, is set to visit Manila for the first time as the latest endorser of a local clothing brand.
The actor will meet his Filipino fans in "Benchsetter Fun Meet: Lee Min Ho" on November 16 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. On its official website, Bench said the tickets for the event will be available in participating stores nationwide (click to see full mechanics).
Lee Min Ho joins the A-list brand representatives of Bench dubbed as "Global Bench Setters" along with K-pop stars Si Won and Dong Hae who also visited the country last August.
This is one of the many product endorsements for Lee Min-ho, who rose to fame after the success of Korean hit series "Boys Over Flowers" in 2009. This was followed by another lead roles in "Perfect Match" (2010) and "City Hunter" (2012).
During his Bench pictorial in Soeul, Korea, Philippine Star columnist Ricky Lo had a close encounter with the actor for a 15-minute interview. In his article, Lo outlined four things that Minoz (as his fans are called) would like to know about him (see full article).
Lee Min Ho is currently busy with his latest drama, "Faith" where he plays the role of Choi Young.

My Fun Meet patron ticket |
Last Saturday (October 13), I was lucky enough to get the last patron ticket available in Bench SM Marikina outlet. I must confess, I am thrilled when I got hold of the ticket. According to my friends, participating stores are running out of tickets since the Fun Meet was announced via Bench Facebook page and twitter account on the same day.
And today, October 19, Bench will release another batch of patron tickets in SM Mall of Asia and SM North Edsa. So to all Minoz out there, grab your tickets now!
