A 20-something journalist by education, a world explorer-wannabe, an occasional food and movie buff, and currently a visual storyteller. 

I believe that experience is best gained by going out, by trying new things by yourself. With the emergence of  technology (and the countless possibilities it offers), still nothings beats first-hand experience. This simple philosophy is the foundation of the blog you're visiting right now.

"Just Out and Around", is not a travel-oriented blog (although the name sounds like one). But it mainly talks about three things that interest me: events, travel (yes it is here), food (and in some cases, movies). Just a little history: this blog has undergone A LOT of name change before I finally decided to stick to this one.

Part of my professional job in media industry is to cover a myriad of lifestyle events in and around the metro, and I would love to share them with you here. So you can expect that most of my posts are about the coverage(s) that I've been to. :P Since I have mentioned about my training in journalism, I also try to keep a "journalistic" approach in my writings here (I just feel the need to). :P
