Singapura, oh Singapura! (My Singapore Tour) DAY 2: SENTOSA ISLAND

RISE and SHINE!
Today is my second morning here in Singapore! And I just love the sunny and breezy weather here!

So after an afternoon mall strolling yesterday, we’re set to go for an exciting island hopping in Sentosa!
Welcome to Sentosa!
Just an hour away from Loyang Rise (the place where we are staying) is Sentosa, an idyllic resort island with pristine white beaches, world-class attractions and must-try activities.

But before our Sentosa Isalnd tour, we just had some stop overs!

NOW IT’S TIME TO GO AT SENTOSA ISLAND!

Since the Sentosa Island is too big to travel in just one day, we decided to visit few selected areas.

From VivoCity Mall, we rode the Sentosa Express. This is one of the three public transport services that will give you easy access to Sentosa (the other two are via MRT or public buses). Here, the passengers can get a good view of Sentosa’s main attractions like Resorts World Sentosa (which is home to Universal Studios Singapore) while on the ride.

And we’re finally here in PALAWAN BEACH! (Nope, this is not the Philippine island in Mindanao that you’re thinking).

Welcome to Palawan Beach, a pristine white sand beach which boasts a scenic tapestry of green flora. With a suspension bridge linking beach-goers to the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, Palawan Beach is a must-see destination for an exciting island getaway!

The Palawan Amphitheatre holds a Bird Show where guests can interact with intelligent and adorable aerial animals!

NEXT STOP… The SKYRIDE and SKYLINE LUGE SENTOSA!!!
The Skyride. WEE!!!
Part go-cart, part toboggan, the Luge offers a truly fun and unique outdoor experience suitable for those who love slight-extreme-on-the-go adventure! You can navigate down either on the 650-metre Jungle Trail or 688-metre Dragon Trail. There’s also a camera in one of the stop points to capture your moment!
